A Conversation on Philanthropic Impact: Why Every Foundation Can and Should Have Impact
EVENTS OF NOTE
Feburary 29, 2012
The Association of Small Foundations invites Boston-area grantmakers to join “A Conversation on Philanthropic Impact: Why Every Foundation Can and Should Have Impact” on Wednesday February 29 from 12 to 2pm at GMA Foundation’s Boston office.
Amy Segal Shorey of GMA Foundations and Sheila Leddy of the Fledgling Fund will moderate a discussion on the ways that small foundations can achieve impact with their giving.
What does that involve? How much effort does it take and will it be worth it?
Come talk with Boston foundation leaders who are navigating these questions and forging a new path for their foundations – one that’s making a real difference. This facilitated peer-to-peer conversation is a great way to explore the principles of philanthropic impact in a relaxed environment, and become even more thoughtful and deliberate about your own foundation work.
Registration is available online at www.smallfoundations.org. Although there is no fee, pre-registration is required as lunch will be served. For more information contact Akilah Massey at akilah@smallfoundations.org or 202-580-6568.
