Joel Springer, Foundation Accountant, joined GMA in the summer of 2007 and is now a senior member of the financial services team. Joel provides bookkeeping, payout planning and a range of other financial management services to our clients, and acts as a resource to their tax accountants.

His previous non-profit accounting experience includes volunteer work for Bread & Jams, a self- advocacy center for the homeless in Cambridge, and for Adbar Ethiopian Women’s Alliance.

He earned a B.S. from Indiana University, an M.M. from the New England Conservatory, and a Certificate in Accounting from Northeastern University.

When he is not working at GMA, Joel is an active musician and music teacher. He can also frequently be found walking his rescued dog, Kuma, in Cambridge.
